Skin

Scent of rain among the mist
Gentle morn in earthly kiss
Embrace the day with light therein
Upon the breath of earthly wind

Tingle beads upon my skin
I am bound beneath your whims
Cast the shadows from the grey
Listen as the spirit plays

Wonder through the void of dreams
Silent whispers shatter screams
Senseless be thy, rhythm of song
Passage leaves thy heart, I long

Crimson as the sky appears
Silent clouds shed their tears
Pitier, patter sounds the rain
Among the fields earthly plains

Washed am I of earthly deeds
No longer shall I, echo needs
Sweep the dirt upon my skin
For I have seen the light within
