Tears Are Wept Upon Thy Feet

Yearning heavens echo harps
Beside still waters heavens part
Tiny teardrops among the skies
Dreary morning upon the rise

Darling appear before my eyes
Sugar dance baby, beside the moors
Clouds burst among the heavenly skies
And in thy heart, thou are adored!

Mambo, moonlit river baby
Shimmer softly drive me crazy
Before our rhythm, and our desires
Burn in me, like tempered fire!

Rapture be thy earthly feet
To taste of thy nectar, my earthly treat
Moonlit baby in your eyes
Surrender sweetly in paradise

Mambo, mystical lady before these sands
Hollowed be thy breath upon my hand
Tender, tears are wept upon thy feet
Caress thy body tenderly, my sweet!
