Twilight
Twilight in mid July
Beneath the light of heavenly skies
Where I rest on bended knee
To honour the thought of you and me
Thou hath known me intimately
And heard my heart inside of me
Beauty be thy beautiful soul
Smother me with kisses and make me whole
Sombre be thy warm embrace
Never have I held such faith
Thy own heart, I know is true
Beauty be thy thoughts of you
As we dance beneath the stars
Embers glisten in your eyes
Warm the cockles of my heart
Beautiful soul, which you impart
Twain the stars set forth this night
Beautiful maiden hold me tight
Dance with me my majestic light
Beauty be thy beautiful sight
