Unselfishly & willingly
Unselfishly and willingly
I've given my life before the cross
As I made my sacrifice of love
I was touched; by an angel tears from above
As I wrote a loving note for a couple in love
I witness the beauty of a family love
See I wrote my verse as a gift
And it ended up being the headdress on his coffin, and family parting gift
I've given my unconditional love
To children with special needs
And seen the joy upon which it breeds
And I've seen the path upon which it leads
I've walked among the shaky ground
And seen the rumble crumble down
Unselfishly and willingly
I've given my talent to help the needy
Even in my darkest hour
On the anniversary of our daughter
I did the thing that others ought a
And asked for donations for charity
As I am a humanitarian close at heart
I treasure the selfless things that I impart
Unselfishly I am here as your brother
Within my own heart, I am a lover
Unselfishly and willingly unlike another
I'll love my heart and soul, for we are brothers
Sisters clad with clapping hands
We are kindred among these sands
