With My Heart In Havened Flight
I Rushed, seven minutes caught among time
Through the gate a swollen stream
Surrendered to the sun in glimmer
No two words could conform to my thoughts
And I was prisoner to what I was taught
Cancelled, were those reasons in rhyme
And I was bound by earthly time
Terminally, was my heart in fate
As I waited near the hidden gate
As my legs surrendered to the earth
Like wasted thoughts among the turf
As I watch the waves among the surf
There was sense inside my mind
And I was caught among the chimes
Chimes sound softly in the wind
And there are feelings caught therein
I listen to the sound of seven gongs
And there were thoughts among their songs
Seven whispered hallowed strokes
A passage whispered as I woke
Minutes seem the pass so fast
And there was sadness at the pass
Heaven knows, thy hand I hate
And I am bound beside my fate
No two tickets pass the line
And I am a prisoner in my prime
Bound was I, among the truth
Lost the world among my youth
Passage hymn thy heart in song
They play the fiddle and sing along
No senseless seam among the sheets
I was left an earthly treat, in ebb and flow
Beneath the sun in silent glow
Had I heard the passaged song
Or was I caught among the wrong
No surrender to the sweet
Among the shadows earthly feet
Whispered footprints among the sands
Like grains of pebbles upon my hands
With my heart in havened flight, I heard a whisper
In the night, lonely as the night appeared
I was lost among the sounds of tears
Whisper softly, here it comes
And I am bound beneath this earthly sum
